The Hunt
By James Q. Morrison
I
"Remember sonny, there is always a bigger fish", the sailor had said to me before the crew of the 'Silver Spear II' set sail for the first time. The sea is a dangerous place to be; more so when you're sailing in a rusty and crusty bathtub like the 'SSII'.
It is some sort of an initiation ritual for newbie sail-hunters, to try and catch the biggest game possible in their first trip. It is also some sort of funerary ritual most times. It is not uncommon (quite common actually) to never see the young aspiring sail-hunters again. Not that I'm afraid, though. We are a very competent crew, with a competent captai
Coffee
Is there anything more heavenly, more breathtakingly good, than a cup of boiling-hot coffee? Is there anything that can compare to that bitter flavor, to that thick perfume, to that heart-warming sensation? What is it that makes this drink such an addictive thing?
I can hear someone crying "Caffeine!", and I can't help but chuckle and shake my head lightly. Of course, caffeine is addictive, but the real thing that makes you incapable of saying "no, thank you" to that kind old lady that comes to you with a cup of the smoking infusion, is the memories. Coffee brings memories back.
I don't know whether this is the caffeine's fault, but

A blue or black ball-point pen, and a sheet of paper; my computer... sometimes
Yo! How's it doing world? Yeah, I know I don't do much here... I rarely upload anything anymore so I will be deleting this account soon... Not that anybody cares anyway. I will be making a new one, though... kinda like a fresh start.
Sooo... farewell people! I will be transfering all of my favorites and stuff to the new account, so... well just in case someone wonders.
Bye, bye Number39... you will be missed by none!
Today, product of my creative mind, have been born three characters. Three characters that will have the sole purpose of serving as my different pen-names. Each character will have its own writting style and genre. I shall write small bios for each one in my Deviant ID.
For now, only one of them has written a story, which I will post soon.
So, I've been on some sort of drawing spree... but my drawing skills are terrible anyway, so I won't be uploading much of what I draw (so far, only two of my sketches have made it here...).
I guess I should stick to writting and leave drawings to those who can actually draw. I don't even know how to hold a pencil properly!
